In this animation, I created a kinetic typography animation to Marina's song "Savages."

The audio I chose for this project was the song savages, by MARINA.

It is a critique of the humankind, of how, despite how civilized we pretend to be, we are still as savage as any animal.

I selected this song because I see a lot of potential in the imagery in the lyrics. I want to use visuals and animation to expand on the theme of the song.

For the style of this project, I wanted to go for a simple graphic style inspired by infographics and educational animations such as those on Crash Course

I chose this style because I feel it’s evocative of the institutions being criticized in the song
