ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Avery Wise. I am a 3D animator from Charlotte, North Carolina. I am passionate about storytelling and exploring characters through performance. ​I have been telling stories since before I could speak, as evidenced by the many home videos of me babbling matter-of-factly to my parents. This impulse has shaped my life, driving me to pursue a career in animation. I aspire to work as an animator in an animation studio, creating character-driven performances for film and TV.

On this site, you can see my demo reel, my 3D animation projects, their shot progressions, my life drawings, and my still lifes. My inspiration comes from my many interests. I am a curious person, and I study many subjects in my free time, such as anatomy, psychology, mythology and folklore. I integrate these interests into my art, providing a unique style and subject matter for my animations. ​​In addition to this, I also seek inspiration from the people I love. I am often most enthusiastic about projects I create for my friends and family.​
