TRU FRU- LOGO ANIMATION

After Effects Animation

In this animation, I tested my ability to convey brand identity through motion by designing a logo animation for the viral snack brand Tru Fru. 

The fruit letter assets were designed in Adobe Illustrator. Animation was done in Adobe After Effects.

MOTION RATIONALE

For the assets in this animation, I chose to use a more basic, graphic style to match the Tru Fru’s minimal, modern branding
The real articulation is in the motion.

 

I used principles like squash and stretch and ease in/out to create bouncy, lively animation


This bounciness captures the playful nature of the brand, but also emulates the freshness and juiciness their snacks are famous for
